where i've been...

It's been quite a while since I even looked at this page. Good news is I’m Not dead! Woot!
A LOT has changed since the last time that I was actually posting stuff on here. Biggest thing is that I am no longer pursuing a career in animation (or anything art related actually). I decided that while I really enjoyed creating art in my spare time, I couldn’t imagine doing it 40hrs a week. (Would have been REALLY nice to have figured that out before going thru 5years of college and one BFA major, but eh, what are ya gonna do?).
As has always been the subject of my work I am now entering myself into the world of zoo keeping and loving it to death. I’m currently on an internship working with everything from Hippos and Black Rhinos, to Okapi, Kudu, Bongo and Duiker. Throw in the occasional Crocodile and about 10 species of birds and you have my life at the moment. It’s a lot more work than you could ever imagine, and although it probably won’t be my final stop on the train wreck that is my career path, it’s a fantastic ride so far!

Hey guys,
I just want to let everyone know that I'm SOOOO sorry for taking so long to answer notes, emails, and comments that people have left me. I've been trying to hurry, but life keeps getting in the way.
Things in my life are just really frustrating and complicated right now and it's causing me a lot of stress.
Again I am really sorry and I'm honestly NOT ignoring anyone nor am I trying to be a huge…er…jerk.

No, I'm not dead…just in hibernation

Hurricane

Due in part to the fact that a hurricane the size of Texas is heading straight for me uploads will continue to be few and far between for the next week or so. Since I may not have power of awhile all emails and things are going to have to go unanswered.
Actually this is just a brief excuse for why I haven't done much in the way of art. Truth is my life has really taken a spiral turn down for the worst since I came back to FL and I have just have felt inspirited to do anything creative. (Not to mention my mother is sleeping in my living room for the next month or so) and since she does not and will not see any of my art if I have anything to say about it, the time and place I have to work on anything is limited anyway.
Esh enough about my life

Moving

This is kinda complicated but as some of you know I live in FL but move back home to IL for the summers/holidays. Well my mother in selling the house in IL and moving to FL to stalk me...er...live. Anyway we are moving out of the house but I don't go back to FL for a few weeks so I am living with some friends for those weeks.
This means that things are crazy around here. This also means that I probably won't be able to get on the computer much (if at all) for those weeks.
I just wanted to let everyone know; so any un-answered emails, notes, and comments should be answered (at the latest) around Aug. 22
Things may be different and I may be able to get on more than I anticipate, but otherwise I will talk to everyone in August
